First time in Sweden?

Sweden is all about grand cityscapes and colorful coastlines. Offering everything from deep-blue archipelagos and Northern Lights, to killer fashion, food and design, Sweden is a Nordic dream date.

History

Sweden became known to the rest of the world through the Vikings who emerged in the 9th century to raid much of northern Europe. In the centuries to come, Sweden would become a Christian kingdom.

Swedish style

Few countries are as design literate as Sweden. The Swedish style is known for it´s impeccable taste and attention to detail. The typical Swedish style is full of moderation, simplicity and practicality. Prepare to celebrate all things beautiful and democratic.

Nature

Indeed, the best thing about Sweden is probably its natural assets. Sweden claims one of the lowest population densities on the continent. So, go pitch a tent by a Baltic beach or ride a sleigh under the Northern Lights. You can thank Mother Nature later.

Architecture

History is written largely in Sverige. Ancient rune stones poke up out of grassy parks, while huge stone-ship settings and burial mounds recall long-gone kings and chiefs. Each historical artifact, building and ruin is a piece of a jigsaw.

Stockholm

The travel destination number one in Sweden is definitely Stockholm. The country´s capital is pride to be open to anyone and everyone. Stockholmers call their city ‘beauty on water’. But despite the well-preserved historic core, Stockholm is no museum piece: it’s modern, dynamic and ever-evolving. Sounds interesting? Take part in one of our Old Town City Tours.

Gothenburg

Gothenburg is the largest non-capital city in the Nordic and located on the beautiful west coast of Sweden. Enjoy the green and leafy parks in the city center, explore the myriads of islands in the archipelago or visit historic forts and castles. Book our Gothenburg City tour here.

Abisko

If you are going to Lappland, you have to visit this popular National Park. People come here in winter to see the Northern Lights, where you get probably the best conditions in the world to spot the aurora and in summer they come to hike and to see the midnight sun. Abisko offers unforgettable activities to experience.

Kiruna

In the north of Sweden, you´ll find the city Kiruna which offers of the world´s most popular attractions. The incredible wide and quiet landscape will make your stay in this region unforgettable. Already since the beginning of September, you have the chance to spot the Northern Lights. Visit the ICEHOTEL – the landmark of Sweden – or get to know the Sami culture.

Gotland

Gotland is a Swedish island and province in the Baltic Sea. This region is known for the cobblestone streets and the well-preserved medieval city hall. In Visby, you can also find the important, centuries-old Visby Cathedral and medieval church ruins.
